Meet Chelsea Cronin, the beauty behind the @Obsessive_Compulsive_Beauty account on Instagram. Based out of Los Angeles, California, this bonafide skincare expert boasts both killer fashion sense and impeccable taste in all things beauty. Not to mention, she's been featured on Brit + Co.

Even if you haven't checked out the enviable #shelfie lineups she posts on her account yet, she was sweet enough to take time out of her grueling schedule as a Psychiatric Nurse to let us share in the goodness of her fabulous skincare wisdom.

On days when you're pressed for time, it's still important to take care of your skin — that's why we're eternally grateful for her suggestions below. Here's what she had to say!

Chelsea's Quick AM Skincare #Shelfie

"As a nurse, I'll take any additional minute of sleep that I can get. I like to keep my AM routine quick, but EFFECTIVE, so I'm up and out the door in 20 minutes (including making my tea and getting lunch together). If you're not skincare obsessed, more than one product in the morning can seem overwhelming, but I swear it's worth it!"

1.) Step One: Remove Leftover Product.

"When I wake up, I usually have some leftover remnants of Mario Badescue Drying Lotion ($17) and look like I've been through a battle the night before, so I need to make sure I get everything off before I show up to work. Don't want to scare my patients!!"

2.) Step Two: Cleanse.

"The cleanser I'm using right now is AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam ($50) which has been ugh-mazing! It's effective at removing everything, including [any leftover] makeup. The other thing I love about this wash is that it doesn't dry me out, or make me feel like I sucked away all the moisture in my face when I'm done."

Step Three: Exfoliate.

"Before I wash off my cleanser, I like to wet my Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal ($15) to gently exfoliate and get rid of extra flakes of dry skin. My skin feels so smooth after this step!"

Step Four:  Tone.

"Next, I tone. I know many people don't get the point, but it completes the cleansing process. Very important! Lately, I've been using Herbivore Botanicals Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner ($39). Honestly, this toner has been perfect for my acne-prone skin and hormonal breakouts. Added bonus: It smells refreshing and spraying it on my face helps wake me up a bit more."

Step Five: Vitamin C Serum.

"Now that my skin is ready to accept anything that I throw at it, I apply Drunk Elephant Skincare C-Firma Day Serum ($80) which is crucial for a brighter and more radiant complexion. This particular serum manages to stay active for 72-hours! Crazy, right?"

Step Six: Moisturize.

"If I feel like my skin needs some extra hydration, I'll add a few drops of Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid ($39). Trust me, you'll be glowing!"

Step Seven: Eye Cream.

"A new step that I've added in the morning is applying eye cream. I've always been good about applying it at night, but I've found that putting it on in the morning really helps with makeup application and makes me look more rested. I've been loving this sample of La Mer Eye Concentrate ($175). Tip: Any bit of product left on my finger, I swipe across my lips."

Step Eight: SPF.

"Next, and probably the most is important step, is SPF! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't apply sunscreen. Anti-aging... anyone? Prior to Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen ($32), I religiously used their Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum ($42). Honestly, I feel naked without it! I've been a big fan of this entire line since it hit Sephora, and they keep coming up with products that I didn't know that I was missing, and now can't live without. And their Unseen Sunscreen is no different. I mean, it's SPF and a primer in one, so it cuts out a step in my routine. The texture is out of this world and it has red algae in it, which helps protect from the harmful blue light emitted from phones and computers... so I won't get any wrinkles from all that charting I have to do. Trust me, you've never used a sunscreen like this!

Finally, I throw on some tinted moisturizer and I'm out the door!
