Luxury footwear is one of the most worthy investments for your wardrobes. Because while holiday feasting might take a toll on your hemlines, it'll leave your shoe size intact. Ever since living in NYC, black leather boots — of all shapes, heights, and sizes — have become a staple in my closet (and my life).
Perhaps due to my lifelong love of The Beatles, classic Chelsea boots and inspired styles are among my favorite looks ever.
Enter: Jamie Chung, Hollywood's most darling fashion blogger-slash-actress. This fashion babe helped me discover the next high-end bootie line I'll be shopping: Archive Shoes.
In the photoshoot above from her blog, What the Chung, she's wearing the line's luxe take on the starry trend from last season. The exact pair she's wearing — The Archive - The Madison Leather Boot ($298) — is pictured below:
The line sells one pair in particular — pictured below — that I'd like to get my hands on: Archive Shoes - The Mercer Boot ($238). The pointed toe is extra stylish and their sleek look is so versatile, working with both polished and elevated casual looks. They come in black, snakeskin, taupe, and trendy winter white — perfect for following in the fashionable footsteps of trend-setters like Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, and Irina Shayk.
Of the many boot trends hitting the scene, my favorite Chelsea boot renditions feature block heels, pointed toes, and come in various heights and different textures like suede and velvet. Tom even got me a pair of Chelsea boot rain boots!
But see for yourself. Can you even believe the perfection of the Rag & Bone Agnes Boot ($575)? I couldn't resist these babies because they're Parisian AF.
You'll see other variations, like the pointed-toe Schutz Anaflor Bootie ($290) and Revolve's best-selling Polly Plume Ally Velvet Bootie ($392) in black, are all over this season.
