10 Style and Beauty Essentials I Scored at the FabFitFun Summer House

Fab Fit Fun Summer House Swag
The other day I went to a pool party at the Fab Fit Fun Summer House in Bel-Air. It was amazing, I'm not gonna lie. The entire time we were treated to gifts, spa treatments, demonstrations, elderflower drinks, live music, and more gifts. There was a balloon-filled pool, a dj, and it was hosted by Rocky Barnes.

Everything was worthy of a photo-opp, including a mobile champagne bar and even — believe it or not — Heidi Montag. I talked to her for a second, thought I realized I knew who she was, and then ultimately thought she was someone else altogether.
The bottom line: I walked away feeling like the beauty industry is booming. It's evolving quickly and in a cleaner and more ethical direction, even if people don't see it from the outside.
Shop my top 10 picks from the FabFitFun party below.

Solid and Striped The Nina ($168)
Girls from Solid & Striped were waiting in the foyer to gift us each a swimsuit of our choosing. This is the same line that Taylor Swift and her "squad" wore at her celeb-studded 4th of July party back when she was still with Tom Hiddleston. The line is known for having celebrity fans from Beyoncé to Joan Smalls. Only The Nina ($168) was left in my size by the time I got there, but it is so cute on, has a fun low back, and is v. comfy. I also saw a cute white bikini with black polka dots (which are on trend for Fall, btw). You can browse their best-sellers here.

Grown Alchemist Detox Serum Antioxidant +3 Complex ($55)
I truly believe in beauty fate because I had been obsessing over this fabulous botanically-sourced, anti-pollution formula after writing about how pollution is aging our skin . I told the girls next to me in line to be sure to grab one of these bad boys.

Purlisse Watermelon Energizing Sheet Mask ($36 for 6)
This is the latest launch from the Eastern-inspired line. Their best-known products are their face mask with blue lotus seed and their B.B. creams, which provide the best coverage I have ever found. It’s one of my on-the-go beauty essentials I grab for my streamlined, time-saving routine.

Little Barn Apothecary Honeysuckle + Grapefruit Body Oil ($38)
I love body oil! I like to seal it in with a thick body butter.

LashesMD Eyelash and Eyebrow Conditioner ($65)
It’s cruelty-free!

Tarte Cosmetics Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara ($23)
Read my review of it here.

Whish Coconut Body Butter ($17)
I am always on the hunt for a clean, cruelty-free body butter. Back in my "toxic" beauty days, Kiehl's was my go-to.

Generation Clay Urban Defense Purifying Pink Clay Mask ($39)
It is infused with Kakadu Plum — the most hydrating oil I know of — and is from a cruelty-free, natural, Aussie line. The Australian Skincare trend is here to stay — yay!

Immunocologie Body Serum ($120)
I have always been fascinated by body serums and I love this luxe green line. The founder is so sweet!

MakeupDrop Silicone Makeup Applicator($18, orig $20)
This is a cruelty-free, paraben-free, ultra-efficient makeup applicator that is cleaner than a sponge and absorbs less product than a beautyblender.
